We Exist

Well, I ended my subscription, but apparently it continues on it’s own for a time. Here’s something: I met a friend, and we got to talking about careers. I suggested he become a mechanic with his mechanical background. Somehow, this discussion went on a tangent, but I’ll share.

We were talking about consciousness. He asked an interesting question: Have you ever become so aware of your own existence, of yourself, even as separate from all those around you? Hmmm… I thought. I told him I had that when I was seven years of age. Funny that…. He shared that it was difficult getting used to so he doesn’t think too much about that. I guess it was something new to him.

So, I looked it up online. Apparently, many people have had that same thing. Some people deal with it better than others. Some are then pondering. I think it’s a good observation. I told my friend, I think it’s something significant, that we are becoming aware of that from above. In other words, don’t be afraid of it, but don’t preoccupy/obsess. Perhaps, for some people, it’s the first time they’ve become really conscious. I think most people walk around in a state of semi-consciousness, aware but not aware. And that explains so very much. To some people, I would say pray about it, then don’t worry. We’re not animals. We’re human beings, and there is a wonderful mystery in all of that. Patience. Prayers.
